WBSEDCL has been entrusted for execution of Rural Electricity Infrastructure and Household Electrification works in Dakshin Dinajpur, Malda, Nadia, Hooghly, Howrah, Birbhum, and 24 Parganas (South) Districts of West Bengal with the concurrence of Government of West Bengal. The execution of the project shall be funded out of the proceeds of the financial assistance to be received by Government of West Bengal from Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (RECL) and all eligible payments for the execution of the project under the intended contract shall be made by the WBSEDCL under suitable arrangement with Government of West Bengal.
PURCHASE OF BIDS : Bids can be purchased by the interested bidders or lead partner or any partner of the joint
venture from 11 00 hrs to 14 00 hrs on all working days (except Saturday & Holidays) from 11.9.2008 to 20.9.2008 against submission of crossed D/D of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) for each Package from Sl No. 1 to 15 in favour of “West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited” payable at Kolkata through request in
writing (two copies) with documentary evidence in support of the qualifying requirements. No request will be entertained through post / Courier.
DUE DATE: Sealed Bids in triplicate will be received upto 14:00 hrs from 15.9.08 to 29.9.08. Techno- Commercial part will be opened at 12:00 hrs of 30.9.08 for Packages under Sl no. 1 to 7 and on 01.10.2008 for Packages under Sl. No.8 to 15 in the office of the Chief Engineer (Dist.Constn.)-RE, W.B.S.E.D.C.L, Vidyut Bhawan, Bidhannagar, Kolkata-700 091. Opening date of Price Bids of the successful Techno-Commercial Bidders will be
intimated in due course.
