Sealed tenders are invited by The Chief Engineer, Salt Lake Complex , Vidyut Bhavan, 3rd. Floor, Salt Lake City, Kolkata – 91 WBSEDCL from the bonafide and resourceful contractors of WBSEDCL/ WBSETCL and other Central/ State/ Semi – Government/ Undertaking organitation having experience of executing similar nature of work on percentage basis for the under mentioned works :-

 Detail tender papers/ documents will be available on application in duplicate seperately for each work, from this office from 16.09.08…to …23..09.08 on any working day between 11.00 AM to 1- 30 PM (except Saturday, Sunday and Holiday ) on submission of attested copies of valid Sales Tax / VAT Registration Number, PAN, S.T. & P.T.clearence certificate, EPF Registration Certificate accompanied with attested copies of credentials towards satisfactory performance together with payment Certificate in support of execution of similar nature of work bearing a single order value of at least i) Rs. 8.00 Lacs for any one tender, ii) Rs.15.00 Lacs for any two tenders and iii) Rs. 22.00 Lacs for all the three tenders having been executed any time during the preceding three years. The tenderers must posseses valid relevant Electrical Contractor’s License awarded by the Licensing Board, Govt. of West Bengal for execution of work.

Earnest money should be deposited through Demand Draft in favour of “ West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited” payable at Kolkata and same have to be submitted in a separate envelope attached with the tender paper with properly marked NIT no., Name of the work, full address on top of both the envelopes.

Tenders will be received upto 2 -30 P.M on 24. 09. 08 and will be opened on the same date at 3- 00 P.M in presence of attending tenderers. Request for sending tender papers by post or by courrier will not be entertained. Conditional & Incomplete tender and tender without full Earnest Money will summarily be rejected. The department does not bind itself to accept the lowest bidder and reserves the right to split the order, if necessary and also to

accept or reject any or all tenders or part thereof without assingning any reason what – so - ever.  Tender will be remain valid for 06 (Six) months from the date of opening of tender. Other details information may be had from the above office and website www.wbsedcl.in.
