TNPL intends to install a cement plant utilising the wet lime sludge generated in its paper mill operations.
TNPL invites sealed Bids for a 500 TPD Dry Process cement plant including its erection, testing and commissioning, as per the scope specified in the Bid Document. The Bidder should have supplied atleast two Nos of Kiln, raw mill & cement mill each in the range of 500 to 1000tpd in the last 5 years that are in successful operation. Bidders shall submit necessary documentary evidence to this effect.
Interested bidders may purchase a complete set of Bid Document against submission of a written application to TNPL and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000 by way of Banker's Cheque/Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited", payable at Karur, from the following address :

A single stage, two-envelope (Technical Bid and Price Bid envelopes) bidding procedure will be followed. All Bids must be delivered to the office of TNPL not later than 15.00 hours on March 04, 2009. Technical Bids will be opened at 16.00 hours on the same day in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who choose to attend.
