TNPL invites sealed bids for supply of 1No. of 20 MVA, 110/11 kV Power Transformer. Bidder should be a reputed Original equipment Manufacturer(OEM) having designed and should have supplied 10 nos. of 110 kV Power Transformers of rating 20 MVA and above in the past five (5) years.
A complete set of Bid Document for each of the above equipment may be purchased by any interested vendor on the submission of a written application to TNPL and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Indian Rupees 5000 /- by way of Banker’s Cheque/Demand Draft in favour of Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited, payable at Karur, from the following address:

A single stage, two-envelope (Technical Bid and Price Bid envelopes) bidding procedure will be followed. All Bids must be delivered to the office of TNPL not later than 15.00 hours on February 25, 2009. Technical Bids will be opened at 16.00 hours on the same day in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who choose to attend.
