Sealed
tenders on item rate basis are invited from the empanelled contractors for captioned
work. Tender documents may be collected from and tender may be submitted to the
Bank at the Premises Department, Head Office, 2, N.S. Road, Kolkata-700 001 as
per following programme.

If the work not completed up
to the satisfaction of the Bank within 7 days, the contractor shall be bound
to pay to the Employer a sum equivalent to 1% of the accepted tendered per
week subject to ceiling of 10% of the accepted contract amount by way of
liquidated damages.

Payment terms
|
No advance will be paid. The payment will be made on the
basis of joint measurements after completion of total works. Income tax will
be deducted as per the rules.
Retention money 10% will be deducted from the bills and
to be released after 6 months from the date of virtual completion provided no
defects is observed during the period. Final Payment will be made on
satisfactory completion of the job.
