1.Final location survey Chennai(perungudi) to cuddalore via Mahabalipuram
and Pondicherry with a link from the existing line from Chengalpattu
(Chennai Beach – Villupuram section ) to connect the proposed line at
Mahabalipuram, Fixing of alignment, supplying and fixing center line
pillars and soil investigation for minor bridges, major bridges and for
formation in cutting and bank etc.,
2.Preliminary Engineering survey – Feasibility Survey for linking
Chengalpattu and Mahabalipuram(45km)by laying a new BG line connecting
the Chennai Beach-Villupuram section at Chengalapttu and the proposed
new BG line Chennai (perungudi) and cuddalore at Mahabalipuram.
Approx cost of work : Rs.197.38 Lacks
EMD : Rs. 2,48,690/-
