NTPC Limited–Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Project, in Madhya Pradesh, invites sealed bids / tenders / proposals from eligible bidders for the following packages:

** Date of opening of part (c) shall be communicated only to the bidders, who are found qualified at a later date.
1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1.1 Suitable bidders may collect the bid document on submission of application with the cost of bid document in the form of a demand draft (non refundable). The demand draft should be drawn in favour of NTPC Ltd. Payable at SBI Vindhyanagar (Bank Code No. 7937) or Union Bank of India, Vindhyanagar (Bank Code No. 543675).
1.2 Issuance of Bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered qualified. Fulfillment of qualifying requirements by the bidders will be reviewed/evaluated by NTPC Limited and the price bid will be opened only of those bidders who have submitted proper EMD and have fulfilled our QR.
1.3 Total bid to be submitted by 10.30 AM on the respective BOD as indicated above.
1.4 Sealed tenders signed in all pages should be submitted in three parts, Part (a) for EMD, Part (b) for Technical Bid containing total credential to fulfill all the criteria as mentioned in qualifying requirements below along with un-priced technical deviation, if any, and part (c) for the Commercial Bid along with duly filled up deviation schedules.
1.5 Tender shall be accompanied by the earnest money. Bids not accompanied with required EMD will not be considered and shall be liable for rejection.
1.6 The bidder must submit all the documents like detailed letter of award, proof of execution, audited balance sheets of last three years, PF code, ITCC/PAN, Service Tax Registration No. etc. to establish their credentials in line of the qualifying requirements. Submission of incomplete bids (i.e. non-submission of required documents) may be liable for disqualification / rejection of offer.
1.7 Transfer of tender documents purchased by one intending tenderer to another is not permitted.
1.8 NTPC Limited reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the invitation for bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
1.9 In case any stipulated date is a holiday, then tenders processing dates will be shifted to next working day.

1.10 In the evaluation and comparison of bids, NTPC Limited reserves the right to allow purchase preference to Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and Joint ventures with CPSEs as admissible under the existing policy of the Govt. of India.
1.11 All credentials pertaining to this NIT must be before the date of NIT.
1.12 For any postal/communication delay, NTPC Limited will not be held responsible.
Note: Bids are to be submitted super-scribing the tender reference. Tender without having three separate envelopes, i.e Part(a) EMD and Letter of Undertaking, Part(b) Technical bid and Part(c) Commercial Bid respectively will not be considered.
2.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS(QR) FOR BIDDERS:
A. FOR NIT No. 8415-583-2699(sl. No. 01):
(i) The intending bidder should have a valid separate PF registration no.
(ii) The average annual turn over of bidder during last three Financial year 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08 should not be less than Rs. 25.00 lacs.
(iii) The bidder should have executed/ completed the work of civil construction/ civil maintenance during last seven years from the date of NIT, either of the following:
· Three contracts, each having executed value not less than Rs. 8.80 lacs.
OR
· Two contracts, each having executed value not less than Rs. 11.00 lacs.
OR
· One contract having executed value not less than Rs. 17.60 lacs
The above contracts should have been executed in PSUs/ any Govt./ Semi Govt. Organization/ Public Limited Companies.
B. FOR NIT No. (sl. No. 8445-584-2700 (sl. No. 02):
(i) The intending bidder should have a valid separate PF registration no.
(ii) The average annual turn over of bidder during last three Financial year 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08 should not be less than Rs. 15.60 lacs.
(iii) The bidder should have executed/ completed the work of Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 11 KV (HT) overhead lines during last seven years from the date of NIT, either of the following:
· Three contracts, each having executed value not less than Rs. 20.80 lacs.
OR
· Two contracts, each having executed value not less than Rs. 26.00 lacs.
OR
· One contract having executed value not less than Rs. 41.60 lacs
The above contracts should have been executed in PSUs/ any Govt./ Semi Govt. Organization/ Public Limited Companies.

C. FOR NIT No. (sl. 8445-585-2701(sl. No. 03):
(i) The intending bidder should have a valid separate PF registration no.
(ii) The average annual turn over of bidder during last three Financial year 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08 should not be less than Rs. 22.00 lacs.
(iii) The bidder should have executed/ completed the work of Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 30 mtrs. or above high lighting mast during last seven years from the date of NIT, either of the following:
· Three contracts, each having executed value not less than Rs. 26.80 lacs.
OR
· Two contracts, each having executed value not less than Rs. 33.50 lacs.
OR
· One contract having executed value not less than Rs. 53.60 lacs
The above contracts should have been executed in PSUs/ any Govt./ Semi Govt. Organization/ Public Limited Companies.
